I transcribe, and often perform, recordings.  Here's an example of my recent work, a Chucho Valdes solo:

Andrew is a gifted teacher and great with children. He has connected with my kids and adapted his approach to suit their individual personalities. He is so patient and kind - they LOVE lessons and are always willing to practice - because they want to impress their teacher.
